Guess What I Found!

It’s an interesting new animated video channel on YouTube. The channel is about the mishaps, misunderstandings and culture shock  that comes with moving to Japan for work. The focus of the videos is many on a different situations that can occur within these circumstances. Check Out the channel! I hope you will all join me to support this new series.

Here’s the first video.

This have reinvigorated me to continue my purse of Japanese Pop culture, mostly Johnny’s. I have decided to start a Vlog for recapping and reviewing Jdramas, and talking about pop culture news. Look forward to our coming new content.

MatsuJun is a Heartbroken Chocolatier

Ok, so this is a reason for me to start writing in this blog again. I know I promised to begin sooner but I have been super busy. I finally made a huge move. I am now living in Japan and its been really hectic.

Now for the news. Own favorite Matsumoto Jun is starring in the new getsuku drama on Fuji TV. So this Monday at 9pm I can see it live if I make it home from work on time. The drama stars Jun who is still clinging to his first love played by Satomi Ishihara. Ishihara’s character loves chocolate but when given homemade chocolates on Valentine’s day, she immediately dumps him (Jun) saying she didn’t know they were dating. Not one to sit idly by Jun’s character goes to Paris to become a chocolatier in hopes of winning her love in the future.

Personally I can’t wait for this drama, I am not impartial at all. We love Arashi here at dramajewels and will support them forever.

NEW Format!!!

Hello Fans of Drama & Jewels

This blog will undergo some remodeling for the next month. It will no longer cover all Taiwan, Japan and Korea’s Actors, Movies and Popstars who Act. It will become a place for J Entertainment Fandoms. As time and my life allow, I will report on Japanese Popstars, Actors and Actresses, Movies, TV dramas and Variety shows. I will mostly cover Johnny’s artists but I will still write about other entertainers I enjoy. I will only write about people and things I like or find interesting, funny, shocking or whatever else I want. On occasion I will write about an Popstar or actor from another country but only as it relates to the Japan entertainment scene.

All past stories will remain on this blog and you will still be able to view them.

Check back in a month for a new beginning and new stories.
